Waterjet cutting is a high-energy (380MPa) water stream produced by multi-stage pressurization of ordinary water, and then through a very fine ruby nozzle (diameter 0.1-0.35mm), jet cutting at a speed of nearly one kilometer per second , Produce 108-109Pa pressure on the cutting surface. It is widely used in the processing of stone, metal, glass, ceramics, plastics, cloth, wood, rubber and other materials. There are two forms of high-pressure water cutting, one is pure water cutting, the kerf is about 0.1-1.1mm; the other is abrasive cutting, the kerf is about 0.8-1.8mm, the abrasive used for water cutting is quartz sand, Garnet, river sand, emery, etc.
Reasons that affect the water flow speed of the waterjet cutting machine:
Cutting pressure, flow rate, sand volume, etc. will all affect the water flow speed, and the cutting speed will be different for different materials and thicknesses, and the cutting parameters of the water jet are not absolute values.
Operation method of waterjet cutting machine:
1. Prepare drawings and raw materials, carefully check whether the drawings are consistent with the raw materials, open the program to be cut, and check whether the CNC program is consistent with the product to be processed.
2. Check whether the electrical appliances, power supply, and hydraulic oil are normal.
3. Turn on the high-pressure water, circulating water and air pumps to ensure that all are in normal operation before starting up.
4. Open the operating program, press the "drive" button to confirm the zero position, if the position is offset, it needs to be reset.
5. Ensure that the water in the waterjet pool is above the standard line and the amount of water must not be too small.
6. Wear labor insurance glasses to avoid industrial accidents.
7. When cutting different materials, adjust the corresponding speed, pressure and emery flow rate.
