Recently, many friends are asking what should I do if the newly bought tile cutter is not working well? Since the tile cutter is a relatively new type of equipment in ceramic tile processing, it is normal that you don’t know how to use it when you just bought it. If it is not working well, first check whether you are operating correctly. The tile cutter is divided into manual type and automatic type, the following takes manual type as an example to explain the problems that need to be paid attention to when using the tile cutter.

　 1. When cutting, the marking should be uniform, continuous and clear from beginning to end. In the process of cutting ceramic tiles, the force is not on the scribing line. Excessive scribing will make the cutting line become sawtooth, which will greatly shorten the normal service life of the cutter wheel;

　　2. Different saw blades are used when cutting vitrified tiles and tiles. The saw blade is not vertical and it is easy to cut edges. For cutting tiles, fine sand saw blades are used. Machine instability, unevenness or vibration will cause the edges. When cutting, the thrust should be light, and the cutting marks on the tiles should not be broken, otherwise the tiles will drop corners.

　　3. When sawing concrete, tiles or stone, you must water it first, and the inside of the motor must not be exposed to water. When there is no tap water, the sink must be placed at a position above 80mm above the working surface.

　　4. When sawing, you must wear safety glasses to prevent splashing tiles from getting into your eyes.

　　5. Before operation, check the saw blade for cracks, nicks or bends, and conduct a test run to confirm whether it is normal. If you find any of the above defects or abnormal phenomena, you should stop using it immediately. When working, never touch the saw blade.

　　6. The ceramic tile cutter needs to be turned on to full speed before sawing. When sawing concrete, tiles or stone, it should be less than 20mm; for cutting more than 20mm, two steps must be performed, and the efficiency will be greatly reduced.

　　7. When the saw blade rotates, remember to place the stone cutter horizontally.

　　If the newly-purchased machine does not work well, look at the problem. If it is not improper use, then communicate with the manufacturer to see if it needs to be repaired or replaced.
